We’re playing the legendary Hitster Quiz at the Krone Forch. Host Dirk will get you in the mood for some trivia. Who knows the song, the artist and perhaps even the year it was released?

Marius from Nänikon began his apprenticeship at the Zollinger Foundation in 2024 and is now in his third year of training. Two work placements in upmarket restaurants have given him valuable

Tavolata at Krone
An Italian-style feast with a Sicilian twist
Following the first sold-out Tavolata, there will be a follow-up event.
We invite you to enjoy cosiness, culinary delights and good company at the Krone Forch. Giovanni will conjure up wonderful specialities from Italy and his southern Italian homeland for you. There's a rich selection of meat and vegetarian options. Everyone helps themselves at the buffet and enjoys the evening together at our Tavolata. To go with it, we have a fitting selection of beer, wine and other drinks ready for you. All you need to bring is a good portion of time and appetite.

5:30 pm Arrival, aperitif with small nibbles
From 6:30 pm "Tavolata Fredda" – all-you-can-eat buffet
after "Tavolata Calda" – all-you-can-eat buffet
To round things off "Dolce" – dessert buffet

An evening of delicacies with wine pairings
Our inn is turning into a ‘Weinhof’.
Together with Sandro Furnari and Sabine Williams from Forch, we’re organising an authentic wine evening for you. Come and sample a select range of their wines from Austria and South Africa. These will be accompanied by Austrian ‘Schmankerl’ (delicacies) such as spreads, a sausage and cheese platter, etc., along with a traditional South African boerewors. The wine merchants Nadja and Carina from bauerzehnbauer.ch will also be there to offer you expert advice.
It’s practically a must for all wine lovers :)!

Raphaël Gonthier from Maur has just successfully completed his apprenticeship as a chef at the restaurant Enja in Zürich. We’d like to showcase his creativity here at the Krone with a dinner menu he’s created himself.
On two evenings, he’ll be cooking with a deliberate focus on simplicity: rustic, home-style dishes, prepared with a deep love for the ingredients and a penchant for pairing them with good beer.
